Stand-alone Wilson Flow Grid Type C5 to suit a duct 900 mm Wide x 900 mm High The Wilson Flow Grid is by far the most suitable flow measuring device for use in primary flow control applications. This is because the Wilson Flow grid senses the flow over the whole duct area whereas conventional x-type measuring grids senses in two planes only.
The Wilson Flow Grid is accurate to ±5% if using the performance data supplied with the grid. If the Wilson Flow Grid is calibrated on Site then an accuracy of ±2% can be achieved.
The difference being that the 5% accuracy is based upon the fact that the performance data is obtained under perfect condition of laminar flow. The actual installation may be less than perfect so we claim a lower accuracy to allow for the probability of poor site conditions.
If calibrating on site then the calibration is done in actual conditions and an accuracy of ±2% or better can be achieved. Readings are 100% repeatable.
