Ball Valve

Control Ball Valves for Industrial & HVAC Applications

Shop all Ball Valves at iACS. As a cornerstone of modern fluid dynamics, an isolating ball valve provides the essential shut-off and modulation capabilities required for high-performance HVAC and industrial process systems. The ball valve remains the industry standard for reliability. You can explore our detailed guide on how the valve works in the AHU systems and HVAC control valves to see how these units interface with air handling technology.

Here at IACS we offer a full range of valves produced by the main brands in HVAC, such as Danfoss, Belimo and Siemens.

A ball valve is a flow control device that controls liquid flow through a hollow, perforated, pivoting ball. It is open when the ball's hole is aligned with the flow entrance, and it is closed when the valve handle is pivoted 90 degrees, obstructing the flow. Need advice on what ball valve is required? At IACS, our technical team is available to help.

How a ball valve works

When the valve is open, the handle is flat in line with the flow, and when it is closed, it is perpendicular to it, allowing for easy visual confirmation of the valve's status. The 1/4 turn in the closed position can be done in either a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction. Visit the following IACS blog article about all types of valves.
