The E2V-C electronic valve is designed for installation in refrigerant circuits as the refrigerant expansion device for superheat control at the compressor inlet (using the superheat calculated by a pressure and temperature probe located at the evaporator outlet as the control signal).
The valve can also be used as the pressure controller in transcritical circuits with CO2 refrigerant (R744). Only CAREL instruments should be used for control of the E2V-C
